1. Description of the SMS Program and Messaging Use Cases

Vertacomai operates a Short Message Service (SMS) program that sends recurring marketing and transactional text messages to prospective and active clients who have provided express written consent. By opting in, you agree to participate in the Vertacomai SMS program under these Messaging Terms.

The Vertacomai SMS program is used for the following messaging use cases:

Messages are sent in English or Spanish based on your indicated preference at the time of opt-in.

2. How to Opt In

You may opt in to the Vertacomai SMS program through any of the following methods:

Website form opt-in. Submit your phone number through a contact form on vertacomai.com or a Vertacomai client landing page and check the SMS consent box. The checkbox is unchecked by default and is never required to submit the form or to complete a purchase.

Verbal consent. Provide verbal consent during a scheduled call with a Vertacomai representative. Your consent is logged in our customer relationship management system with the date, time, representative name, and your phone number.

SMS confirmation. Reply YES or START to an initial opt-in confirmation message sent to a phone number you provided through other channels.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your stage in our process and your account activity. Most contacts receive between 2 and 6 messages per month. Conversational replies and active service interactions may result in additional messages within an active conversation.

4. Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Vertacomai does not charge a fee for sending or receiving SMS messages. However, your wireless carrier's standard messaging rates and data rates apply to all SMS messages you send or receive in connection with the Vertacomai SMS program. Please contact your wireless carrier for details about the specific charges that apply to your plan. Vertacomai is not responsible for any charges you incur from your wireless carrier.

5. How to Opt Out — Text STOP to Unsubscribe

You can opt out of the Vertacomai SMS program at any time by replying STOP.

To opt out, text STOP to any SMS message you receive from Vertacomai. You may also opt out by replying with any of the following keywords: STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT.

After you reply STOP, you will receive one final confirmation message acknowledging your opt-out, and you will not receive any additional SMS messages from the Vertacomai SMS program unless you opt back in. To opt back in, reply START to a Vertacomai message or contact us through vertacomai.com.
